Sycamore Farm, a 20-acre working horse farm, is Bloomington’s newest wedding venue. We host weddings, receptions, reunions, corporate events, and other private parties. We are currently giving tours and booking events for 2013.
The farmstead dates back to the 1800s. At that time, the owners ran a dairy, and the original red barn still sits by That Road. The newer barns are now for horses and parties. For 40 years, the land has grazed horses, first American Saddlebreds, and now Standandbreds. Mares and colts enjoy the farm until the colts leave for a future career on the race tracks.
Sycamore Farm has been hosting parties and weddings since 1985. Until recently the venue has not been available to the public for such events. At the urging of family and friends, we now offer the farm to others.
